








A new illustration project by Mike Voropaev. Retro-digital inspired style with a lot of references to the past and modern culture, mixed with irony and hot topics makes this project unique and memorable. Made for Papercut magazine: My series of illustrations called "untitled.psd" not really devoted to the criticism of corporations and authorities, it is a call to people - to be more attentive to this issue and be cautious about their private data and social network activities. Inspired by web punk, the Scene, hacking scandals and early personal computers age I synthesize original style which is combination of 3D graphics, pixel art and colorful vector graphics. The topics of series are wider than just privacy and personal data. Its about the internet age and democracy. Im using a lot of digital culture references - like the famous old Windows 3D Pipes screensaver or Liberator - the first 3D printed gun which had a lot of controversy and banned again in August 2018 [...]
